Experiencing Culture of I-POH Day 1

In my semester 5 of Interior Architecture Journey, I got opportunity to experience the culture of Ipoh, which is capital of Perak state. This visit is and compulsory trip for my Experiencing culture 2 subject. As mentioned before this, we went to Europe for our culture1 subject. So, I was a bit less excited about this trip when my memories of Europe came and tell me that 'this is trip will be a boring trip for you'. But it happens exactly in opposite way, can say the most enjoyable trip of mine.

We did a lot of research about Ipoh and present it infront of class, to get better understanding about this city, in aspect of history, architecture, culture and food. On 7th February 2014, we(from sem 2 to sem 5 students, consists of 44 including 4 lecturers) start to move from UCSI to Ipoh.

It was a new environment for me because first time I am travelling with coursemates who are already close with me. This is totally different compared to Cherating Trip 2013, where I seriously didnt know majority of my coursemates since its my 2nd sem.

After took breakfast at R&R of Rawang, we start our visits.

Our first visit is to Heritage Museum of Chinese. The things that they preserve there is so classic and valuable, and I really mesmerized with the environment of the place.
